Embassy and Consular Help in Azerbaijan
Embassy addresses, duty numbers and opening hours are operational information and can change. Use Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs directory and your own government’s official mission page instead of relying on copied contact lists.
Before travel
Save your embassy or consulate’s current telephone number, address and after-hours instructions. Register the trip with your government when that service is offered. Keep digital and paper copies of the passport identity page, visa, insurance policy and emergency contacts.
Lost or stolen passport
Report theft to local police, contact your embassy or consulate and follow its emergency-document procedure. A tour company cannot issue a travel document or guarantee border acceptance. Allow time for photographs, reports, fees and revised flights.
What consular teams can and cannot do
A mission may provide emergency documents, lists of local lawyers or hospitals and contact assistance. It normally cannot pay personal bills, cancel local law, guarantee release from detention or replace travel insurance. Follow the mission’s published instructions.
