What you need before applying
Gather everything below before starting your application — incomplete or low-quality submissions are the most common cause of delays and rejections.

Must have at least 6 months' validity remaining from your planned entry date, with at least one blank page.

Recent photo with a plain white background, no glasses or headwear (unless religious), face clearly visible.

A clear scan or photo showing all four edges of the passport's photo page — cropped or blurry scans are a common rejection cause.

Travel dates
Your planned arrival date in Azerbaijan — doesn't need to match a confirmed flight booking, but should be realistic.

Do I need a confirmed hotel booking to apply?
No — the standard eVisa application doesn't require proof of accommodation, though it's sensible to have your trip roughly planned before applying.
What if my passport has less than 6 months' validity?
You'll need to renew your passport before applying — this is a hard requirement and applications with insufficient validity are rejected automatically.
My application was rejected — what now?
